We acquired the Awak Mas gold deposit on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi for $1.5 million in 2005. The project has undergone significant exploration and drilling by major companies from the period 1991 - 1998 with over $40 million spent on the property during that period. In late 2006, we completed a drilling program and new resource estimate for the project and completed a preliminary assessment in January of 2008. Awak Mas currently has a measured and indicated gold resource of 1.7 million ounces and an inferred resource of 539,000 ounces. In 2009, we entered into a joint venture with One Asia Resources Ltd. (formerly named Pan Asia Resources Corporation) for further development of the project. The One Asia joint venture arrangement brings in a group with previous experience on the project who wish to advance the project to production while continuing to provide Vista with exposure to a large gold resource and potential production. The One Asia joint venture is an excellent example of our ability to generate value from our portfolio while being able to retain our focus and the commitment of our valuable management and financial resources on our core projects at Mt. Todd and Guadalupe de los Reyes.
