Management Team

Michael B. Richings - Executive Chairman, CEO and Director.
Mr. Richings is a graduate of Camborne School of Mines (UK) and has a Master’s degree from Queens University (Canada). He has over 35 years experience in development and operations in the mining industry. Mr. Richings was previously President of Atlas Corp. and before that President of Lac South America, based in Santiago, Chile.
Frederick H. Earnest - President, COO and Director
Mr. Earnest joined Vista in September 2006, and has over 20 years experience in the mining industry, most recently, as President of Pacific Rim El Salvador, and previously as General Manager and Legal Representative for Compania Minera Dayton in Chile. He holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
Gregory G. Marlier - Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Marlier joined Vista in June 2004 as CFO. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Accounting from John Carroll University. Mr. Marlier has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting and securities regulatory compliance, mostly in mining or resource industries.
  Frank K. Fenne - Vice President Exploration.
Mr. Fenne has over 25 years of exploration, project development, and mine operations experience. He was most recently Manager of Technical Services for Kinross Gold Corporation at their Round Mountain Gold Operation. He has previously worked for Union Carbide, Cyprus Mines, Atlas Precious Metals, and Echo Bay Mines with international experience in Mexico and the Philippines. Mr. Fenne holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of California and a M.S. in Geology from the University of Idaho and is a Professional Geologist registered in the State of Idaho.
  Thomas J. DeMull - Sr. Vice President, Project Development.
Mr. DeMull holds a M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering with over 30 years of experience in mineral processing and project management, including 5 years international experience in major projects in Asia-Pacific and Latin America. He has been involved in the development of 10 projects, 6 of which became operating mines.
